Question: How do I get a Web Presence Provider
Answer
You can put your basic web site on the internet using your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) web space. You get details of this when you sign up for the ISP's services. This is free and is OK to get you started.
For more sophisticated web sites, you will need a web host which offers facilities such as FrontPage Extensions. Click HERE for a list of free sites that offer this. Note: You may have to put up with adverts placed in your web pages by the ISP.
If you want even more sophistication or just to avoid the ISP's adverts, you can pay for a 'web presence'. Prices start at about £50 per year, but you can get a 3-month deal from some web hosts. You also get better support than with a free web host. Click HERE for a list of paid-for web hosts.
Question: How do I publish my Website
